Director of Operations

The Director of Operations is deeply committed to supporting the growth of The Better Co. in achieving greater and greater levels of success, as well as growing his/her own skills and developing into a supportive leader within the organization. As the success of the business grows, this individual will have the ability to grow with the company creating long-term advancement opportunities.  It is very important that this individual has a positive growth mindset and understand the power of intentional living to see the abundance that is all around us, as this is an important concept within The Better Co. This highly motivated individual will see opportunity instead of obstacles when facing the daily challenges of running The Better Co. 

Job Description:

The Director of Operations is the key to The Better Co’s success and ability to grow! Be a part of this great opportunity to love your job, have daily autonomy, schedule flexibility and room for growth personally, professionally, and financially.  The ideal candidate will fit the following:

 

  • Be highly driven and good at solving diverse problems as they arise. 

  • Be comfortable with learning and mastering database, lead generation, and CRM systems as well as consistently seeking new, innovative, and efficient business processes that save time and money. 

  • Be a key leader in the Expansion team

  • Be expected to increase Better Co's ability to process transactions that lead to company growth! 

The Director of Operations will have some interactions with clients and will need good people skills. The expected schedule will be AM in the office and working remotely in the afternoons. Some weekends and evenings may be needed but will also allow tons of flexibility to work around your family and life.

 

Responsibilities

  • Adjust to the needs of the real estate office and execute other assistant duties when necessary

  • Manage the client database to keep information orderly and confidential

  • Answer phone calls, emails, and other requests and notify broker of necessary details

  • Build, implement, and manages all systems for transaction coordination, internal communication, client communication, financial management, information management, central database management, and marketing.

  • Customer/Vendor relations

  • Oversight of contracts through closing use command for processes

Qualifications

  • Real estate experience preferred but not required

  • Can work on deadline and handle private client information

  • Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Multiple Listing Service

  • Strong interpersonal skills and time management skills

Compensation

35,000 - 40,000 per year + bonuses

  • Creates and maintains an operations manual that documents all systems and standards.

  • Coordinates the purchase, installation and maintenance of all office equipment.

  • Is responsible for hiring, training, consulting and holding accountable all additional administrative department members.

  • Help develop community Facebook pages and client/community events.


Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • System development, implementation, documentation and management

  • Customer/vendor relations

  • Leading administrative department members (as appropriate to organizational structure)

  • Full knowledge of how to use Command and to leverage with marketing and transactions

  • Network Referral Agents - daily

  • Administrative Department (as appropriate to organizational structure) - daily

  • Buyers/Sellers/Vendors - as appropriate

  • Create content and posts for Facebook / IG pages

Compensation​

  • Full Time - 35,000-40,000 + bonus on Company (Better with Bethany) dollar and also bonus on referrals to Better Co.
