MEET Bethany CEO/ Founder

Bethany began her career as a Clinical Social Worker after finishing her Masters from the University of Michigan. With  10+ years experience in the field,  Bethany was approached by a good friend  to  consider real estate.  Initially excited about the opportunity to make limitless commission, she quickly fell in love with helping people through the biggest purchase of their lives - finding their dream home. 


After going through Executive Coaching to build her own personal development, she realized the skills she honed during her decade of clinical social work are an asset in both sales and developing a business. In fact, it’s what gives her a true, heartfelt advantage! So passionate about helping individuals reach their full potential by developing personally and professionally.

Chris has a wealth of business and life experiences that he is bringing to The Better Co. Oakland University graduate (elementary education), former professional soccer player, college and competitive youth coach, father, Cross-fitter, and Environmental Contract Management experience overseeing the TWM program and budget for nearly 70 manufacturing and engineering sites across North America.  The Better Co is excited to have Chris on the team!

Kate is a wife and mother of three, her oldest with special needs. She has a background in the  health and wellness industry as a CrossFit coach and personal trainer. Kate also has a  passion to serve others and her community as the director of events for the successful Amrap4Autism CrossFit competition which raises money for families with autism and other special needs. Kate is determined to provide her community with exemplary services as their local Realtor and home expert.  Kate specializes in the Northville, Plymouth, Livonia, Farmington and Novi area, with also a great understanding of the Livingston county area.

Katie received a BA in Communications from Michigan State University and began her career in New York City rising to the position of New York Region Marketing Director at the Universal Music Group. She successfully transitioned her carrier to the hospitality industry where she built and opened two music and art focused bars and restaurants in Lower East side of Manhattan. After getting married and having 2 children she decided it was time to take her talents back to her hometown. In 2016 she purchased a piece of commercial real estate in Berkley Michigan where she opened the Berkley Common Bar and Restaurant. Katie sits on the board of directors of The Berkley Chamber of Commerce assisting in the development and progress of the downtown area. As the recipient of the Businessperson of the Year award for the Berkley Chamber, Katie’s passion lies with connecting people with the right business opportunities and locations that fit her clients’ needs.

Janelle Cluff,

Janelle is a Wife and a mom of a little girl. She has been in the Medical Field for 15 years and a Labor and Delivery Nurse for 11. Her background gives her an ability to quickly connect with others, especially in emotional and high stress situations. She thrives on human connections and caring for those around me. She is detail oriented and goal motivated. She is happiest when being creative whether it is through Real Estate, cooking, or trying something new. While going from Medicine to Business seems like a leap; her core values remain: Serve, guide, educate, advocate, and grow. 


Kris-Tina Douglass,

Kris-Tina is a wife, mother of three, and fitness enthusiast. She completed her undergraduate degree at Michigan State University and went on to receive an MBA in Management. With 15+ years in the government sector as a Social Worker, she has leveraged her natural inspiration of helping others. Kris-Tina has found that Real Estate is an environment where her creative vision and attention to detail is valued, and her love for assisting and helping others is a part of every aspect. It is Kris-Tina’s honest passion to help clients take a dream home vision and help make it a reality.
